Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Beshore chose dentistry for his lifelong career because it combined so many of his personal interests and gifts into one neat package. He’s always enjoyed helping people, science, art, and being able to work directly with his hands. Decades later, he stills feels fully confident that he made the right decision.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After completing his undergraduate degree at Wichita State University, Dr. Beshore pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He also completed a General Practice Residency through the United States Air Force.
Today, Dr. Beshore has over 1,000 hours of continuing education under his belt, which includes time spent learning from the world-renowned Dawson Academy, Spear Center, and DOCS for oral sedation. He’s undergone state-of-the-art training for dental implant placements, full mouth rehabilitation, bone grafting techniques, and more through Implant Direct, the Zimmer Institute, and Arrowhead.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Beshore’s wife Stephanie works right here in the dental office as an RDH, and they have three grown children named Chelsea, Allegra, and Isaac. Outside of work, his top priority is always spending quality time with family and friends – especially his three grandkids! Being a grandparent is simply the best. As for personal hobbies, he enjoys traveling to different places and countries, snow skiing, fly fishing, and cycling.
